An Evening of Respite at The Muny
We all have our favorite summer traditions. For many in St. Louis, those cherished traditions include a night out at The Muny in Forest Park. This summer, our clients at the Labre Center experienced that joy firsthand and caught a performance of Bring It On: The Musical.
“The trip to the Muny was such a great experience for our clients,” said Tiffany Nelson, Labre Center Program Manager. “It gave them a chance to relax, have fun, and get lost in something uplifting and creative. The atmosphere brought out a lot of smiles, laughter, and meaningful conversations afterward. It was a reminder of how powerful shared experiences can be for mental and emotional well-being.”
The Labre Center provides transitional housing with a personalized treatment plan for men and women with chronic mental health conditions. Clients stay up to two years at Labre, where our staff helps them create sustainable habits, set goals, and create plans for long-term stability and independence. Each client’s journey is unique, and our staff works collaboratively with them to set and attain goals.
The evening at The Muny this summer was a refreshing moment of community for our clients working hard toward their goals.

Meet Tiffany – Labre Center Program Manager
Tiffany recently celebrated her one-year anniversary serving our clients as the Program Manager at the Labre Center.
“I am passionate about making a direct impact on people’s lives, especially people facing mental health challenges. One of my favorite things about our program is watching clients fight through some of the hardest moments of their lives and progressively watch them feel stronger, supported, and more hopeful.”
