New Jobs at the Campus Thanks to SLATE
PPCS is launching a robust jobs program to give our clients a hand up.
With a $450,000 award from SLATE (St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment), we will be providing living wages for at least 100 workers over the next year.

Participants in our work incentive program will not only receive living wages, they will receive job training and the chance to be promoted and receive bonuses based on the merit of their work. The work will focus on community beautification projects in the neighborhoods surrounding the Community Campus and in other areas with reported high visibility needs.
“The goals are to help men who are homeless build the skills they need for long-term employment success, while paying them enough to begin saving for permanent housing,” said PPCS CEO Anthony D’Agostino.

The program begins in October and will be funded for a full year. The award is one of the final disbursements of federal COVID ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds through the City of St. Louis.
